The internal pilot training for the emergency care module was conducted in Dili at Maluk Timor, involving key staff from Maluk Timor and facilitators from the Health Professions Development team. Participants provided valuable feedback on the training’s accessibility, language, and usability to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the program.
The re-internal pilot training was conducted in Dili at INSP-TL, engaging frontline health workers, including nurses, midwives, doctors, pharmacists, public health professionals, and allied health staff. The training tested the emergency care module in a real-world setting, particularly in the context of primary health care. Participants explored digital modules using mobile devices and group-based learning approaches. The pilot demonstrated the feasibility and impact of digital in-service training in improving knowledge and confidence among health workers. It also identified areas for improvement in the module, including clinical procedures and the availability of medical supplies.
